The student of Lead British International School in Abuja who was caught on camera bullying her fellow student (names withheld) has apologised over her action.

In the widely circulated video, Hassan was seen engaging in the bullying of her colleague, prompting widespread condemnation and calls for justice.

In her apology, Hassan expressed remorse for her actions and extended apologies to all those affected by the incident.

She admitted that she wished the incident never happened.

“I am sincerely sorry for what I did. I am also apologising to people outside, I am sincerely sorry, I wish this never happened,” she said.

The school management had in response to the incident announced the launch of a thorough investigation into the matter.

“The school management is treating this matter with the utmost seriousness,”Abraham Ogunkambi, the Head of School, asserted.

He added that the school has already been in contact with the victim and her parents, offering support and counseling services to help them manage the emotional and psychological effects of the incident.
