Over 10,000 households in Oyo State have benefited from President Bola Tinubu’s food palliatives.
Beneficiaries included Mogaji’s, market association, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Nigeria Union Journalist (NUJ), professional bodies, students, among others.

Minister for Power Adebayo Adelabu, who represented President Tinubu, said the initiative was to alleviate suffering and improve the people’s standard of living.

According to him, President Tinubu is aware of suffering of Nigerians and has assured that the hardship is temporary and that Nigerians will continue to enjoy the dividends of his administration.

Adelabu said: “President Tinubu has decided to give us our own share in Oyo State, the palliative has no political coloration but in furtherance of good governance. We will ensure the distribution is transparent and cut across every religious association, traditional association, ethnic association, and residents, which is why we decided to make it open.
